Geoconsult Christchurch has been providing specialist geotechnical services across the South Island since 2012. Our office has significant experience and knowledge of the geotechnical problems that face developments across the South Island particularly in the Canterbury region and we are familiar with the specific geotechnical requirements of the local Christchurch, Selwyn, Ashburton and Waimakariri Councils.
We have also undertaken many projects across local authority areas which are a bit further from our Christchurch base, including Marlborough, Kaikoura, Hurunui, Mackenzie, Timaru, Waitaki and Queenstown Lakes.
Our aim is to provide effective and tailored investigations using cutting edge methods in order to provide our clients with cost effective geotechnical solutions on their projects.
Since opening our Christchurch office, we have undertaken over a thousand geotechnical investigations across the South Island in environments ranging from the Southern Alps and Port Hills to plains and estuaries. This includes significant experience with all the technical categories (TC1, TC2 and TC3) and areas of mass movement within the Christchurch region.
Our Christchurch office works closely with specialist contractors in the Canterbury region, so that we can provide both fieldwork and consulting services to optimise time and costs in delivering geotechnical reports.
Our office is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
